Landscaping Maintenance in February
Currently, in February, Liberty Lawn & Landscaping is preparing their current landscape maintenance customers for the spring growing season. This month is the best time to prune all vegetation such as perennials, shrubs, and trees to enhance their growing and blooming power for the spring season. Through numerous years of experience, our employees and managers know the right approach to maintenance for achieving flourishing growth and progressive blooms in healthy vegetation.
In addition to pruning all landscape plants, shrubs, and trees, the month of February is a time to prepare the irrigation system for the spring and summer seasons. As the heat rolls in during late spring and into all of summer, an irrigation system needs to be working at its best for the health of all plant life in the landscape. With a licensed irrigator on staff and the main point-of-contact for Liberty Lawn & Landscaping, customers can schedule a full check-up for their irrigation systems including any repairs or adjustments required.
Lastly, to achieve a nice lush lawn, February is the month of lawn applications for weed prevention and treatment. The best time to treat the lawn is in the middle to end of February to eliminate the current weeds while preventing spring/summer weeds from germinating. Liberty Lawn & Landscaping is certified through TCEQ (Texas Commission of Environmental Quality) to apply quality chemicals on lawns and landscapes. Many of our lawn and landscape maintenance customers are on a quarterly schedule for all their lawn application needs. We DO NOT over chemicalize lawns as this is a danger to our environment, pets, lawns and landscapes, and especially to humans.
